Short version: Sleep DND works entirely on your device. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. No accounts, no analytics, no ads — ever.

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Sleep DND ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use the application on your Android or iOS device.

Sleep DND is a simple utility that automatically enables your device's Do Not Disturb mode during a sleep window you define and disables it when your wake-up time arrives. All functionality runs locally on your device.

Data We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect, process, or transmit any of the following:

✓ Usage analytics

✓ Contacts or calendar
✓ Microphone or camera
✓ Advertising IDs

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The App saves the following preferences to your device's local storage (Android SharedPreferences / iOS NSUserDefaults) so your schedule is remembered between launches:

This data never leaves your device. It is not backed up to any server controlled by us and is deleted when you uninstall the App.

Permissions Required

The App requests only the permissions necessary for its core function:

Do Not Disturb Access

Required to toggle your device's DND mode at bedtime and wake-up. This permission is granted through your device's system settings and can be revoked at any time. We do not read your existing DND rules, contacts exceptions, or any other DND configuration.

Run at Startup / Background Service (Android)

The background service needs to restart after a device reboot to continue honouring your schedule. No data is collected during this process.

Internet & Network Access

Sleep DND does not require an internet connection and makes no network requests of any kind. There are no third-party SDKs, analytics libraries, or advertising frameworks included in the App.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party service, platform, or SDK that could collect data on our behalf. The only external distribution channels are the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, whose own privacy policies apply independently when you download the App.

Children's Privacy

Sleep DND does not collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected or processed, the App is safe for use by all age groups.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how the App handles data, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of the App after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
